Tesla Model X

Following the success of its all-electric sedan, Tesla Motors added a new vehicle for its lineup in 2015, coming in the shape of an SUV and wearing the Model X designation. Built on the same platform as the Model S sedan, the Tesla Model X was said at the time of launch to be the safest SUV on the market, thanks to ample crumple zones, battery location and driving aids.

Design wise, the Model X closely follows the lines of its smaller sibling, just on a larger scale. Thing which also happens inside, with the addition of an extra row of seats in the back.

Another interesting feature on the X is represented by the falcon rear doors, which open upwards to facilitate entry in cramped parking lots.
