The Best Sports Cars :: Customer Pick
We asked. You've picked. Here are top 3 sports cars!
Cars have personalities – as any motorist will tell you – and sports cars tend to have more than most. They are faster and more agile than your average car and look better too, designed to exude that sense of devilish thrill one gets in expectation of glorious adventure. Each one does so in their own way, and we would find it next to impossible to gauge one over another on any list. Luckily, you have already done this for us.
In this installment in our customer pick series we present you with three sports cars whose personalities our clients have consistently found the most enjoyable.
Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4
The Huracan is a curious car. It was brought out to replace the Gallardo, Lamborghini’s best selling vehicle, putting it in a position where it would need to fill some fairly big, wheel sized shoes. It has succeeded, albeit by opting for an unexpected route.
At first it might all seem like business as usual. The exterior is styled in a traditional manner, with a supremely aerodynamic body and a pervasive geometric line pattern instantly noticeable. It screams mathematical precision and serves to underscore the car’s predator quality, much like lines on the tiger. Inside, the first thing you notice is how firm the leather seats are. This might be a turn-off for some drivers, but it keeps you alert, and is a boon on longer drives. There is also limited cargo space, but that’s not really a criteria for a car like this.
Then we get to the surprising thing. Unlike other Lamborghini models, the Huracan offers a smooth drive, and is less of an automotive beast and more of a tamed steed. It is effortlessly fast, with a top speed of 323kph, ensuring that that the only time you manage to connect the acceleration pedal with the floor is on an airstrip, but at the same time it also has excellent traction and damping, making it great even for everyday use. It has a 5.2 liter V10 engine with 602hp and 413lb-ft of torque, and accelerates from 0 to 100kph in 2.7 seconds and a 7-speed automatic transmission system, with the four wheel drive being its usual boon to handling.

Jaguar F Type S Cabrio
No word suits the Jaguar F Type better than stunning, and no sports car deserves it more. The curved aluminium chassis has a wider back than in competing roadsters, while also being shorter in length than previous Jaguar convertibles. It basically looks as if they took a solid block of metal, worked it using a wind tunnel and then hollowed it out just enough to fit the engine and the people. This also makes the cargo space more limited. The dash layout is driver centered, and the small gearshift will make you keep your hands on the the steering wheel, which weirdly makes it more enjoyable to drive.
In terms of driving, what the F Type S Cabrio delivers is stable, and yet nimble handling. Sitting behind the wheel, you are in full control. There is no under-steer no matter the speed and you hardly feel any bumps on the road thanks to the Adaptive Dynamics suspension and 19-inch wheels. It has an 8-speed automatic transmission system and is powered by a 3.0 liter supercharged V6 with 380hp and 339lb-ft of torque, has a top speed of 275kph and gets from 0 to 100kph in 5 seconds.

Ferrari 488 GTB
Looking at this car, it becomes easy to understand how Ferrari have earned their reputation. The car-maker had decided to update their existing models for the contemporary marketplace and the 488 GTB is the result. It has an aluminium chassis and has inherited its front design from the 458 Italia while sporting a wider back, allowing for innovation in the engine department in the form of turbochargers. The seats are traditionally comfortable and it offer more boot space than the previous two cars.
Handling is effortless at all speeds, perfectly measured and precise in all situations, and gears shifts will need to be listened to, as the 7-speed transmission system works seamlessly in all aspects. It has a 3.9 liter twin-turbocharged V8 with 661hp and 561lb-ft of torque and will hit 100 kph from standing in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 330kph. If rear wheel drive is your thing, this is the car for you.
